It’s crazy how easily I forget that Jesus is in the boat with me - even through the countless times he’s stilled storms and calmed me, I find myself asking him again..
“DON’T YOU SEE THE BOAT’S FILLING UP WITH WATER? DO YOU EVEN CARE IF IT SINKS?”
He so gently reminds me, “Dear daughter, it’s true that your faith is small, but I’ll show you all that you need to believe that I am right here with you. I have not left you, not even for a moment, and never will.
“My daughter, I won’t let you sink. Remember that I’m the one who made the waves, and I’m teaching you how to walk on them. Remember that I’m the one who gives you faith, and I’ll keep giving it as you take a step and keep your eyes on Me.
“Sweet daughter, let me show you a miracle for the sake of My Name. Right now you see only what looks impossible, but I will open your eyes to see with faith. Watch and see what I will do, so you will know that I am the Lord your God, and there is no other.”
